List of student dissertations         

The students of the course submit a dissertation in partial fulfillment of their M.Sc degree in the second year of study. The topics pertain to various aspects of psychosocial rehabilitation. The research work is supervised by two faculty members.

Ongoing research        

Data analysis is underway in a research project titled “Identification and Redressal of Stigma Associated with Mental Illness in Rural and Semi-Urban Communities of Karnataka”, funded by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.  The study is an attempt to identify aspects of the stigma associated with mental illness and its impact. The aim is to develop a package of psycho educational programmes and to enhance the acceptance of treatment for the mentally ill.
