Other Activities

Co-curricular and extra-curricular activities that students and faculty are part of:

Students are encouraged to participate in inter-college and inter-university cultural, literary and sports competitions organized periodically under RGUHS. Wherever possible, opportunities are provided within the organization for tapping and display of special talents and skills in students.

Faculty members are involved in various extra-curricular activities, mainly in the field of psychosocial rehabilitation/counselling training. Many of the senior faculty members are associated as external consultants with various other mental health NGO networks. Some faculty members are also part of academic institutions such as the RGUHS in the capacity of member of the Board of Studies, various research/academic committees of NIMHANS, as external examiner for Bangalore University and other prestigious universities.
